Scheduled orders generate a lot of revenue for online ordering. Companies, or large parties often use scheduled orders to ensure restaurants have enough time and the resources to prepare the food and get it delivered. This means that restaurants often receive scheduled orders hours, or sometimes even days before they should be prepared.

Printing a scheduled order ahead of time creates confusion, and often, the kitchen loses the ticket.

Cuboh has created a way to easily manage scheduled orders by adding a Snooze function.

What does "Snoozing" do?

By snoozing an order, you can remind yourself of the order and fire it off to the kitchen at a later date. This comes in handy as it ensures your staff does not forget to prepare the order, or to put in a purchase request in case the inventory needs to be re-stocked.

Additionally, it also allows you to set a specific time for the order to be sent to the kitchen, so you can forget about the order until it actually needs to be prepared.

How does it work?
Whenever you receive a scheduled order, you will see a new Snooze button next to the customer's name.

  1. Click the Snooze button
  2. Set a time for when you want to remind the staff, you can either choose to Notify Again, or directly Send to Kitchen at the set time.

3. After you hit Confirm, the order will move to its new section under Scheduled Orders

4. You can also set a default snooze time under the settings so your staff does not have to manually change the time for every single scheduled order. The Default Snooze Minutes will set the snooze time for X minutes before the order.
