Integrating Cuboh with your Clover POS

This article will walk you through the Cuboh x Clover integration process.

Setting up your Clover Integration:

The integration process with Clover is very straightforward. Follow the steps below when you’re ready to get started with Cuboh:

  1. In the Cuboh Dashboard, navigate to Integrations → Point of Sale → Clover.

  2. You will then be redirected to Clover and you will see a prompt to approve the Cuboh app.

  3. You will be directed back to the Cuboh Dashboard once you hit ‘Submit’.

Once you've completed the initial set-up, please respond to your Onboarding Specialist to let them know you’ve completed the steps above.

Preparing your Clover system to go live with Cuboh.

Later on in the process, there will be a few additional steps on Clover before you're ready to start taking orders through Cuboh.

  • Creating App-specific Tender Types in Clover.
    Your Clover system will need a unique tender type for each Delivery App you plan on integrating. Please create one tender for every platform you currently use – for example, one called "UberEats", one called "DoorDash", and so forth.

    ​To create new Tender Types on Clover:

    • Log into your Clover account (https://www.clover.com/dashboard)

    • On the sidebar, click on “Account and Setup

    • Under Transactions, click on “Payments

    • Click on “Add Tender”, and name it after one of your platforms, (for example: "GrubHub")

    • Click on Save.

    • Repeat for each delivery app platform you currently use!

  • Creating a "Cuboh" Employee in Clover.
    One additional step is to create a new Employee in your POS, named "Cuboh". This will be the employee responsible for entering all of your online orders into your POS!


Clover Integration FAQ's

“Will I be able to access my entire POS Menu from the Cuboh Dashboard?”

  • Yes, you will be able to access your entire Clover Menu from the Cuboh Dashboard after successfully completing the integration process.

"I use universal modifiers (i.e., I can add any modifier to any main item) on my POS. Can Cuboh support this?"

  • At this time, the Cuboh x Clover integration supports traditional modifiers only. This means that any modifiers must be subitems directly underneath the appropriate main item.

"Can I apply payment manually instead of Cuboh doing it automatically?”

  • Yes, this can be configured by your Cuboh Onboarding Specialist upon request!

“Can I add a discount to all of the orders that Cuboh enters?"

  • Yes, this can also be configured by your Cuboh Onboarding Specialist upon request!
