How to Sync new menu updates to your Cuboh menu mapping dashboard.

How to Synchronize your Menus on Cuboh.

  • Select the Mapping tab from the left navigation bar.

  • Cuboh's Synchronize Menus button allows you to pull all new menu updates across all of your App and POS Menus at the touch of a single button. To perform a new Menu Sync, select the "Synchronize Menus" button from the top of the dashboard.


  • When you preform a Menu Sync, Cuboh will move any brand new items under the "Show New" Items tab.


    ⚠️ Important: Marking an item as inactive or indefinitely sold out while Syncing will prevent it from appearing on your Cuboh Dashboard. If you wish to make these new updates but want to leave items as unavailable to order, please mark them as live only while the Menu Sync is in process.

    As soon as the Menu Sync is complete and you can see the new changes in the dashboard, you can return to the delivery applications to mark these changes as "Sold Out".

  • That's it! Once the Menu Sync is complete, you'll see all of your new menu updates on the Cuboh Dashboard.

    Please note that Menu Syncs can take anywhere from 5-60 minutes, depending on the amount of new mapping data. If you encounter an error while Synchronizing new menu changes, please reach out to your dedicated Cuboh Onboarding Specialist who will be happy to help.


More Information on Menu Synchronization

Synchronize Menus will not affect your other operations, as it simply creates a copy of the data on our Dashboard. Menu Syncs will pull updates from both your App and POS menus at the same time. Here is some additional information on how each menu is treated:

Menu Syncs will delete and re-pull the POS menu every time you sync.

This means that any items you’ve removed will no longer show up on the dashboard.

New or edited items will show up as new items under the "Show New" tab.

This means that any items you create, as well as any changes you make, will be treated as a new item. The old record of the item will remain on the Cuboh Dashboard after menu syncs as well. To manage old or irrelevant items, you are able to set them to “ignore” from the Mapping tab.

Before synchronizing your menus, please make sure you've added all of the delivery app integrations you'd like to see on Cuboh under the Integrations tab before proceeding. Your Cuboh Onboarding Specialist will take care of setting up your POS Integration.
