⚠️ Not seeing any modifiers on Cuboh? "No Data" means that Cuboh can't find any subitems under a particular Main Item.

By default, Cuboh will read your menus in the format: [Main Item] → [Modifiers Attached to that Main Item].

For some restaurants, it's common to have built their POS menus so that Modifiers are set up the same as "Main Items". In this case, the same selections are usually created as 'true modifiers' on the Delivery App Menus. Since Cuboh's Menu Mapping software is essentially matching your Online and POS Menus up to one another, this difference in menu builds can make it difficult for Cuboh to find your Modifier options.

Thankfully, it's often quite easy to make some adjustments to your menus to make sure they line up with one another. There are two ways to go about resolving this:

Option 1: Updating your POS Menu

"No Data" on the Cuboh Dashboard, this means that Cuboh isn't able to find any Subitems attached to that Main Item.

You can resolve this by going into your POS Menu and adding any relevant Subitems to the appropriate Main Item. This process will vary by POS, so if you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Cuboh Onboarding Specialist.

Areas that were matched with a low confidence score by Cuboh are good indicators of where structural differences may exist in your menu. Reviewing these low-confidence areas will help you ensure your menus are united across your Online and POS systems.

Once you've made changes to your menus, you can pull your new updates to Cuboh by hitting the Synchronize Menus button, and then map them using the process highlighted here.

Option 2: Mapping a Modifier to a POS Main Item

You may encounter modifiers that need to be mapped to a POS Main item, or, you may be satisfied with how your POS Menu is set up and would prefer not to make any changes. In this case, there is an alternative workaround you can use from the Cuboh Dashboard.

You can do this by using the 'Change Modifier Type' button to specify how this modifier should be treated.

Hover over the "Change Modifier Type" button and choose "Replaces Main", or "Additional Item".

  • Selecting REPLACES MAIN will tell Cuboh to overwrite the mapping that you had chosen under "Menu Items". This means that Cuboh will only print the Modifier you selected on your printed tickets, 'replacing' the main item with your Modifier Selection.

This comes handy for modifiers like Soda Flavors or Sizes, where the modifier changes how the item should be entered in the POS.

  • Selecting ADDITIONAL ITEM will search the Main Items on your POS and add them directly underneath the Main Item (instead of replacing them)! Likewise, if you want both the Main Item and the Modifier to Print on your printed tickets, the 'additional item' will tell Cuboh to print the Modifier on a new line underneath the main item.

If you are still having trouble locating your modifiers, please ensure your changes have been published/saved and are visible on your POS Menu before syncing them to the Cuboh Dashboard and/or reaching out to our team. Our Onboarding Specialists are available to work with you in diagnosing menu differences or causes for missing modifiers. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our team if you have questions!

If you are with Revel, Silverware, or Auphan, you will also need to make sure your menu changes have been published for online use. Our POS FAQ's will show you exactly how to locate this.
