I've updated my menu... now what?

Once you've made changes to your 3rd party or POS menu, syncing those changes to Cuboh is easy - it only takes 3 steps.

Step 1: Synchronize Your Menu

Navigate to "Menu" on the left menu bar and select "Mapping".

Once you're in the mapping screen, you can select the "Synchronize Menus" button from the top of the dashboard.

This button allows you to pull all new menu updates across all of your App and POS Menus with one click.

⚠️ **IMPORTANT** Menu Syncs can take anywhere from 5-60 minutes, depending on the amount of new mapping data. If you encounter an error while Synchronizing new menu changes, please reach out the Cuboh support team who will be happy to help.

Step 2: Map New Items

Once your menu sync is completed, Cuboh will move any brand new items under the "Show New" Items tab.

All pricing changes will be automatically updated to their respective items during the sync. If you have only updated pricing, you can skip to step #3.

If you have added new menu items in the sync, you will need to ensure those items are mapped to the correct item in your POS or apps. This applies to both main items and modifiers.

Step 3: Publish Your Changes

Once you're finished mapping new items, the most important final step is to "publish" your changes. This button acts as Cuboh's "Save" feature - ensuring all your updates are pushed live.

You can find the "Publish" button right beside "Synchronize Menus" on the top of the mapping screen.

After hitting "Publish", it typically takes about 3-5 minutes for the process to finish and changes to be saved. If you notice publishing is taking longer than an hour, please reach out to the Cuboh support team who can help.

My "Publish" button is greyed out. Why?

This is because Cuboh will not allow you to "PUBLISH" your mapping if there are unmapped items or modifiers. This is to prevent unfinished menus from going live and affecting the flow of orders to your POS.

To correct this, hover over the "Publish" button to see what items are unmapped.

Proceed to map those items, and the button will allow you to publish!

Congratulations - you just updated and published your new menu changes!
