Your menu items exist within categories. Categories are typically the main type of dish a customer is ordering, such as "Pizza", "Burgers", or "Desserts".

Inside a menu item, you'll often have modifier groups and modifiers.

Adding a new item

  1. Click on the plus sign icon to the right of a category name.

  2. Input your item name, description, and price.

  3. If you'd like to add a photo, you can add a link from an online photo or import one directly from your device.

  4. Add classifications if required
Note: some online ordering platforms have strict requirements around alcoholic items. If your item contains alcohol, make sure to tag it using the Classifications field.

  5. Click Save.

Editing a menu item

  1. Click the "expand" icon to the left of a category name to view the items in that category.

  2. Click on the edit icon to the right of your item name.

  3. From the edit page, you can adjust the item's:

    1. Name

    2. Description

    3. Price

    4. Image

    5. Classifications

  4. Click Save.

Deleting a menu item

  1. Click on the trash can icon to the right of your item name.

  2. Click Ok to confirm.

Please note that if you publish item changes to your menu through Menu Management, you still need to synchronize, map, and publish your new items as normal. See here for more on how to map menu changes.
